Hi Freddie
Sorry I couldn't go to GAS. Got your new address.
Enjoyed seeing your surreal shadowboxes.
I miss going to the shows and rubbing shoulders with you nice young folks. However gotta stay near my gal[65 years now]. Hello to Jeannie

I apprenticed with Jean Boutz at the Citrus Tower Studio from '73 to '76. I stopped blowing in '83 (still kicking myself). A renewed passion has compelled me to research the history and evolution of the Bohemian Style lampwork that I fell in love with and still wish to return to. I was very delighted to find glass blowers still doing it the "old way", keeping the tradition from the brink of extinction.

I believe there is an unfair void in the genre of ART GLASS books regarding the specific techniques exemplified in the Bohemian Style. I'd like to remedy that that exalts the art and it's colorful history.

Thought I'd sign your guestbook because I'm not selling anything, and I don't need to know how to clear up my acne, I like them, they cover up my freckles. ha. Love the web site, just found it today. Happy holidays.
Love you,
Alison

I was fortunate enough to get to watch Fred flamework some glass and have been intrigued since. To be able to read up on some of the history of glass, and see his work in the gallery is great!

Thanks!
